Emotions: Four Female Artists

Emotions August 13th – 31st (Closed Bank Holiday Monday 25 August 2025)

‘Emotions’ brings together the unique voices of four female artists, each exploring the depths of human emotion through a range of artistic mediums:

Sara Mach is an artist that delves into capturing the essence of what it means to feel something. To be alive even at all, exploring this through seemingly insignificant expressions or moments in time where emotions have taken hold of the narrative.

Karen Dempster is a photographer, artist and communicator who is fascinated by how emotions quietly surface – in a glance, a gesture, a silent story. Blending photography with mark-making, her work peels back the layers to reveal the person behind the feeling – real, raw and deeply human.

Vera Manion is a mixed media artist whose work explores the evolving landscape of identity, shaped by personal emotions and the tension of living in a restless, ever-changing world. The emotions are not only to be felt, but also understood, embodied, and expressed through making.

Eleanor Rose channels deep emotional currents through bold, expressive use of colour and fragmented forms, turning the canvas into a visceral mirror of the human experience. The art explores vulnerability, intensity, and resilience, allowing vibrant hues and sharp contrasts to speak where words fall short.
