We kick off our brand new 2026 season with comedy legend RICHARD MORTON headlining.
Geordie comedian Richard Morton is a stalwart of the UK comedy circuit with a career spanning over 20 years. His bounding stage presence, catchy songs and material covering real life situations & quick fire gags has made him a true circuit favourite.
Described as "possibly Newcastle's finest export since the famous brown ale" and certainly more consistent than its football team, Richard has nailed the twin talents of musicianship and comedy into one perfectly suited package.
Early in his career Morton scooped the prestigious prize as the Time out Comedian of the Year and was a leading light for The Comedy Stores Cutting Edge show. Along his journey his career has taken him to support many house hold names including Phil Jupitus, lee Evans, Jo Brand and many many more. On TV he has appeared on countless shows including Nevermind the Buzzcocks and Jack Dee’s Saturday Night show. On radio he has featured on BBC Radio 2 & BBC Radio 4...
Introducing the award winning MC, CERYS NELMES, born and bred in the Cotswolds! Cerys has had a very colourful and eventful life which she loves talking about to make people laugh. She performs her comedy in a story telling style with a West Country charm that is easy to warm to.
Also on the bill is KEVIN DANIEL, another award winning comedian, who has established himself as one of the hottest up and coming acts on the UK comedy circuit. He is regularly booked by some of the most well–established comedy promoters across the UK; his commanding stage presence, relatable exquisite storytelling, and well–crafted jokes always leave audiences wanting more.
And, just added, BEN TRELOAR who won Cornish Comedian of the Year and was shortlisted for the BBC New Comedy Awards; Ben is definitely one to watch. With fantastic self-deprecating punchlines and quick crowdwork, it’s easy to see why his comedy career is on the up!
