We have an unavoidable change of headliner for this Friday: Live At The Apollo star ANDREW MAXWELL will be replacing Mike Gunn. Mike will be back with us to headline our gig on the 20th November.

Andrew Maxwell is an award-winning stand up comedian, known for his insightful social commentary and cutting edge humour. The Dublin born comedian has won several major awards, including the Time Out Comedy Award, the Chortle Award and was crowned ‘King of Comedy’ in the Channel 4 television show.
Prolific on the international stage, he has performed at festivals including the Edinburgh Festival, the HBO Comedy Arts Festival in Las Vegas and the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal, and was nominated twice for the prestigious Edinburgh Comedy Award.
His many TV appearances include Live at the Apollo (BBC One), Have I Got News for You (BBC One), Mock the Week (BBC Two), Never Mind the Buzzcocks (BBC Two), I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! (ITV), Celebrity Juice (ITV) and Argumental (Dave).

Winner of the first ever Jongleurs Competition and a seasoned regular on the circuit, Susan Murray has emerged as one of the best female stand-ups in the UK and was the first ever woman to MC Decompression gigs for the British Army / CSE. She is in the top 100 Huffington Post funny women Tweeters.
She’s written for and was a guest on Jeremy Hardy Talks To The Nation and has also starred in Stephen K Amos’ Idiots Guide both for Radio 4. As well as writing for 8 Out Of Ten Cats (Ch4) , BBC Radio 4’s The Now Show, Newsjackand News Quiz she has written and performed four successful solo shows at the Edinburgh Festival as well as performing in several comedy plays and sketches. She made her TV acting debut in the 3rd series of ITV’s The Job Lot alongside Jo Enright and Russell Tovey.
