The Camden Quartet was formed in September 2024 as all four players were members of the National Youth Orchestra and students at Camden School for Girls. Following a term of Sunday coaching with Beares Chamber Music, the quartet gave their second performance, presenting the complete Brahms String Quartet No. 3.

Dora Daisy Bottrill, b. 2008, studies violin with Ruth Hahn at the Junior Guildhall. She aspires to a career as a professional violinist and holds offers to study at the Royal Academy of Music, the Royal College of Music, and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama.

Hugo Jopling, b. 2008, studies with Stephen Upshaw. He plans to study HSPS.

Jess Elliott, b. 2007, studies at the Royal College of Music Junior Department with Sarah-Jane Bradley. She also intends to pursue a career in music and hopes to begin studies at the University of Oxford next year.

Lotte Shlomowitz, b. 2008, also studies at the Royal College of Music Junior Department, where she learns with Una Cho. She is currently in her third year of the National Youth Orchestra and now in her penultimate year, she has been awarded Principal Cello.
