Scoot Theatre and Riverhouse Barn’s Magical Summer School is an unforgettable week of imagination, adventure and performance for children aged 7-11.
Created in collaboration between Scoot Theatre and Riverhouse Barn Arts Centre, this magical week invites children to work together to create and perform their own original fantasy play - inventing characters, discovering mysterious worlds, creating magical moments and bringing their adventure to life on stage.
Led by West End actor and Scoot Theatre Artistic Director Max Hutchinson (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child; The Woman in Black), children will spend the week playing drama games, creating stories, building confidence and developing performance skills in a fun, supportive and inspiring environment.
Whether your child already loves performing or simply has a big imagination, our Magical Summer School is designed to nurture creativity, encourage teamwork and help young people grow in confidence while having plenty of fun.
By the end of the week, they won’t just have created a show - they’ll have made new friendships, built lasting memories and created something entirely their own.

£200 for the full week
£50 for a single day
Spaces are limited.
Children will have to bring along a packed lunch and water.
Comfy casual clothing that they can move around in easily. If it's a sunny day we might work in the courtyard/ garden so best to bring sun cream/caps too.
