Then and Now: Elmbridge through photographs
Step into the borough’s past and present with an exhibition of a series of ‘Then and Now’ photographic comparisons.
Elmbridge Museum has delved into its photographic collection and invited staff from Elmbridge Borough Council to recreate these scenes from the same place to celebrate its 52 years of service. The result is a fascinating ‘Then and Now’ display in a series of illustrated display panels, showing how familiar places across Elmbridge have changed over the years, celebrating the people and places that have shaped the borough’s identity.
Please note: the historical photographs are reproduced within the exhibition panels; original photographs from the Museum’s collection are not on display.
