Enamel skills for beginners & improvers
Enamelling is heating powder or liquid glass onto copper metal shapes to create jewellery, keyring or pictures and much more.
4 week courses covering introductory and improvers enamelling skills. New students will learn the initial basics of enamelling. Returning students can improve their skills or explore a new technique.

Cost: 3 sessions x 3hrs £88 6 sessions x 3hrs £170 9 sessions x 3hrs £255 12 sessions x 3 hours £340 (works out under £10 per hour). Loyalty discount also available to people attending all terms. Typical pendant cost £5 to £10 depending on materials used.
Beginners skills cover: scraffito, masking, screens, sifting, brushing, colour layering & design, finishing skills for creating smooth surface finish + bubbling or cracking issue resolution.
Improvers skills covers: transparent/opaque colour layering and effects, wet process, 3 dimensional thin copper shim, wire work & cloisonné, small bowls and much more. You must be 18 or over and be prepared to adhere to safety procedures. No previous experience is needed.
